The Shaheens were called by God to the Dominican Republic to establish the FCA sports ministry in June of 2011.  Since that time the Shaheens have seen God's faithfulness in providing hearts to fund and pray for their ministry.  Along with the monthly expenses needed to live in the Dominican (housing is less, but food and gas is much more than the US).  For those of you that are willing to support us financially, we intend to keep you connected with our website/blog.  On our website, we will have Jodi’s fabulous pictures along with journal entries from Michael’s days in the villages and communities.  We will also stay in touch with our donors through email and phone calls.

Frequent Flyer Miles - we will be flying between the US and the Dominican with Delta and Jet Blue and would require Delta, Jet Blue or Capital One miles.  Please contact us if you are interested in helping with airline travel.

Baseball Equipment - The Dominicans are always in need of gently used equipment like cleats, gloves, bats, batting helmets, uniform pants and shirts, etc.  Contact us and we will get your equipment and send it down with the next group headed from GA to the

Dominican.
