Great Pictures from the past two weeks

This is the first FCA Baseball team in the Dominican Republic.  Their coaches believe in Jesus Christ and spend a lot of their time talking about Jesus.  The coaches all attend the same church and also attend an FCA Bible study with me.  The players are invited to Bible Studies during the week and some have attended.  Our hope is that they all attend sometime in the near future.  God is good!

Luis Hernandez and Willie Martinez.  They are huge influences in my life.  They love Jesus and want everyone else to have the opportunity to know our Savior.

After the lunch and festivities (face painting and a lot of games), Willie preaches to the a good portion of the community and Chris Maiocco (coach of Jounson Ferry group) finishes with an invitation to spend the rest of your life with Jesus.

Great view of a kids game in El Penon, a batey outside of San Pedro.  We brought the Juan Dolio team out there to play a game.  We mixed the teams and had some fun.  Maybe in a year or two we will have 4 or 5 teams that can be in a league together. 

We got some good seats at the Christian concert and revival at the baseball field in Boco Chica (Ozoria) last Friday.  By 9pm, we were surrounded with people.  I heard over 1,000 people attended that night and stayed until 2am worshipping Jesus.

Getting ready to worship our Lord in San Jose on Sunday.  Right now, we are in a classroom.  SERVE Ministries is sending us a huge tent for the future.  Very exciting.  Does not matter where we worship, who preaches or what music is played.  God is worthy of our praise all the time.  I praise Him as the creator of the universe.  All buildings look beautiful when He is worshipped.  All music sounds wonderful when it is for Him.  And all pastors feed us well when they preach from His Word.  Amen!

On Independence day, Luis took our family to the capital to sight see.  We spent the first hour at the "3 Eyes" mineral caverns.  Amazing!  Our kids are so cute and are now starting to talk a lot if spanish.  It is really funny.

Hard at work getting equipment together for various teams in greater Boca Chica.  Americans could send ten tons of equipment and their would still be kids without cleats and gloves.  Please think about coming for a visit and bringing gloves and cleats with you.
